A unit of National Service Scheme runs in this college. It is a combined program of youth development Sport Cabinet of central government. The main aim of N.S.S. is that there students all round development can be done through social work. From time to time special camp, workshops etc. are organized and wide range of program is conducted on National & International days. Several programs like Polio-awareness rally, Polio Tikakaran program, Literacy Program, Aids awareness program, Plantation program etc. are organized by self-worker of N.S.S. for the national development. An ideal botanical garden has also been planted in college campus by N.S.S. National Service Scheme provides opportunity of social works to our students, so that it creates their moral values in their nature.
College & University level certificate is awarded to those students who always take participation in N.S.S. This certificate is very useful because it gives weight age in entrance selection procedures in government and non-government institution.
